Meet our boffins...David BakerFounder, EngineerDavid is a true boffin at heart. His inventive journey began at an early age when he discovered he could build Land Rovers out of Lego® tractors and kitbash model cars into new creations. His passion stems from a lifelong love affair with the automobile. Not only the mechanics, driving, or design - but a little bit of everything. That wholehearted passion spills over into his professional life. From complex instrumentation for the surgical robotics industry, to product lines for major retailers, and even to custom one-off electric race motorcycles

that crushed the 100 mph average speed lap at the infamous Isle of Mann TTX - he has always strived to sustain the balance between design and functionality. David trained as a Mechanical Engineer at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 2003. Since then, he has focused primarily on consumer goods and medical device development. David's keen eye for detail and ability to transfer concepts from one realm to another has helped drive his career forward. He loves collaborating cross functionally; ensuring the designer and artist's visions are sustained through the engineering and manufacturing processes and realized on the production floor, and that the product is as simple in its complexity as it is beautiful in its functionality.

"Creating is my passion and my peace. I pour myself into my artwork - what I make is an extension of myself. It's also my escape. When I create, there's no space in my brain for anything else - it's just me and my craft and I wouldn't want it any other way!" - Kathi Baker
